This paper dealt with the radiation characteristics, environmental concentrations, and the source of artificial radionuclide Pu, and described the pre-treatment, separation, and purification of environmental samples. The radiometric methods, alpha-spectrometry, liquid scintillation counters, and mass spectrometric methods, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, accelerator mass spectrometry, thermal ionization mass spectrometry, and resonance ionization mass spectrometry were reviewed for the determination of plutonium. Finally, the research prospect was summarized |
