River ecosystem health assessment of the Erhai basin

文摘 基于水质类别,大型底栖动物香农维纳多样性指数、 FBI指数(Family-level biotic index)以及BMWP得分(Biological Monitoring Working Party Scores)分别对洱海流域河流生态系统健康进行评价. 单因子水质评价结果显示影响洱海流域河流水质的主要因子为总氮,健康及亚健康样的样点比例为65%,且主要以亚健康为主. 大型底栖动物香农维纳多样性指数、 FBI指数以及BMWP得分3种评价方法的结果存在显著相关性(P < 0.01),具有较好的一致性. 3种评价方法均显示西洱河生态系统最差,凤尾河生态系统状况也为差. 苍山水系、波罗江和弥苴河评价为健康及亚健康的占比分别为80%、 92%和73%,生态系统状况总体良好,河流的源头样点状况多优于下游样点. 凤羽河生态系统状况以亚健康和一般为主. 健康及亚健康的样点比例为62%. 本研究说明流域内河流生态系统总体状况为良,已受到了一定人类活动的干扰,应重视河流生态系统状况并加强对受损河流的管理和修复.
其他语种文摘 An investigation was carried out in February and May 2009 to assess the effects of anthropogenic disturbance on the river ecosystems of the Erhai basin in Yunnan, China; this provides a foundation for environmental protection in this area. Based on water quality and biota indices (Shannon-Wiener index, Family-level biotic index, and Biological Monitoring Working Party Scores), the ecosystem conditions of 37 river sites in Erhai basin were evaluated. Water quality of river sites showed that total nitrogen was higher than other water chemistry values, and 65% of all sample sites were “subhealthy” or “healthy,” based on comprehensive water quality. Excess total nitrogen was the major problem in water quality. There was a significant Spearman correlation between the evaluations of the Shannon-Wiener index, Family-level biotic index, and Biological Monitoring Working Party Scores, demonstrating that it is possible to use these biota indices in assessing the river ecosystem condition in Erhai basin. According to biota indices assessment, the Xier River ecosystem was the worst, and the Fengyu River ecosystem was also poor. The Cangshan River, Boluo River, and Miju River ecosystems were fair, where “healthy” and “unhealthy” comprised 80%, 92%, and 73% of all biota assessments. The Fengyu River ecosystem was dominated by “subhealthy” and “normal.” Of all sample sites, 62% were “subhealthy” or “healthy.” In summary, the entire watershed river ecosystem was not good, and administration should pay attention to health status of rivers and strengthen regulation and restoration of impaired rivers.
