首次以LiF-H_3BO_3为助熔剂,用顶部籽晶法,生长出尺寸为12 mm×13 mm×5 mm的Ba_2B_5O9_Cl透明单晶。通过热性能分析证实该晶体为非同成分熔融化合物,属于正交晶系,空间群Pnn2,晶胞参数为a=1.1576(2)nm,b=1.1619(2)nm,c=0.66874(13)nm,V=0.8994(3)nm3,Z=4。该晶体中含有BO_3和BO_3基团,具有三维网状的晶体结构。Ba_2B_5O_9Cl粉末的非线性光学效应约为KDP的3.5倍,同时还进行了红外、漫反射光谱性能的研究。 |

Single crystals of Ba_2B_5O_9Cl with sizes up to 12 mm × 13 mm × 5 mm have been grown by top seeded solution growth method using LiF-H_3BO_3 as the flux for the first time.The TGA-DSC experiments proved that Ba_2B_5O_9Cl melts incongruently.It crystallizes in the orthorhombic system,space group Pnn2,with unit-cell parameters a=1.1576(2) nm,b=1.1619(2) nm,c=0.66874(13) nm,V=0.8994(3) nm3,Z=4.There are BO_3 and BO_4 groups in the Ba_2B_5O_9Cl crystal and it exhibits a three-dimensional network structure.Nonlinear optical efficiency of Ba_2B_5O_9Cl is about 3.5 times that of KDP.The infrared spectrum and the UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy were also performed on the reported material. |
