Effects of Irrigation Using Sea Ice Water with Different Salt Contents on Cotton Yield and Quality

文摘 采用不同盐分含量的海冰水进行棉花灌溉试验,结果表明:①经过1年3次灌溉和降雨淋洗作用,海冰水盐分含量为1g/L、3g/L和5g/L的灌溉处理,土壤均表现为明显的脱盐效果,在0~20cm表层土壤脱盐率随海冰水盐分含量升高而降低,脱盐率最高为1g/L处理,达到57.22%,分别高于3g/L和5g/L处理3.28%和18.34%;而盐分含量为7g/L和9g/L的灌溉处理0~80cm土壤各层次表现为积盐,以60~80cm积盐最为严重.②各处理以1g/L和3g/L海冰水灌溉棉花果枝数、单颗棉桃重和产量最高,随灌溉水盐分含量增加产量呈递减的趋势,9g/L海冰水灌溉3次的处理与无灌溉相比出现显著减产,减产率为28.48%;7g/L和9g/L的2个处理,棉花整齐度指数和断裂比强度都有降低趋势,但各处理间棉纤维品质差异不显著.综合考虑海冰水长期灌溉效应及海冰脱盐技术.建议采用3g/L海冰水进行棉田灌溉,并要注意配合必要的灌溉和排水措施.
其他语种文摘 Freshwater shortage is one of serious problems for agricultural productions over the coastal areas of the Bohai Bay. Sea ice water could be a new alternative to be utilized in agricultural irrigation in this region. In the present work, the authors carried out a field cotton irrigation experiment using sea ice water with different salt contents (1 g /L, 3g /L, 5g /L, 7g/L and 9g/L) in Zhongjie Farm located in Hebei province, with the objective to examine the effects of sea ice water on soil salt content, cotton yield as well as quality, and to explore an optimal salt content in irrigation sea ice water. The results suggested that at the end of growing periods of cotton, the soils irrigated by sea ice water with a variety of salt contents of 1 g/L, 3 g/L and 5 g/L showed different desalination effects resulting from both irrigation and rainfall. It was found that the rate of desalination in the 0-20 cm top soils decreased with increases in salt contents in sea ice water used. The highest rate of desalination was 57% occurring under the condition of 1 g/L salt content, which was 3% and 18% higher than the treatments of sea ice water with 3 g/L and 5 g/L salt contents, respectively. The desalination rate in the deep soils was generally lower than the top soils. The soils with treatments of sea ice water with 7 g/L and 9 g/L salt contents could cause significant accumulation of salt in the soil profiles. It was also found that sea ice water irrigation with sea ice water of 1 g/L and 3 g/L salt contents could lead to the best fruit branches per plant, cotton bolls weight per plant and seed yields. The cotton yields showed a decreasing trend with increases in salt contents of sea ice water used. The cotton yield which was irrigated 3 times by sea ice water of 9 g/ L salt content was decreased by 28% compared with the case of no irrigation. The cotton uniformity and fiber strength index exhibited decreasing trends in case of the sea ice water treatments of 7 g/L and 9 g/L salt contents, whereas there was no significant difference in cotton fiber quality between the treatments. It was suggested that sea ice water of 3 g/L salt content can be used for cotton irrigation given advances in sea ice water desalinization technology and the long-term effects of sea ice water of different salt contents on soil and cotton in practical applications. In addition, it is necessary to integrate certain irrigation and drainage facilities into the utilization of sea ice water.
