随着老年人数量的日益增多,中国社会正逐渐由老龄化社会步入老龄社会.老龄化社会和老龄社会将对国家的基本国策产生深远影响,并带来一系列的问题和机遇,而老年人口规模的扩大也会使IT/IS(Information Technology/Information System,即信息技术/信息系统)产品的用户构成发生明显的改变.这给IT产业既带来巨大的挑战,也带来许多的机遇.作为IT/IS领域的学者,我们需要瞄准社会的热点、难点问题以及未来发展趋势,对老龄化社会环境下的IT/IS发展进行深入的研究,并提供理论分析框架.具体而言,要深入分析老年人信息需求的内容.研究老年人IT/IS产品采纳过程中的特点和影响因素,设计适合老年人使用的IT/IS产品.本文在文献分析的基础之上,以马斯洛需求层次理论为依据,对老年人的需求进行层次化演绎,构建了一个老年人信息需求模型.在此基础上,从两方面探讨了该模型的应用.一方面分析IT/IS产品在满足老年人信息需求中所能发挥的支持作用,另一方面,初步分析了老年用户的信息需求对IT/IS产品的影响,指出需要从挖掘并创造老年人的信息需求、建立覆盖老年用户的信息系统和设计适应老年用户的交互界面等三个方面出发,来应对老龄化社会带来的挑战,抓住可能形成的产业机遇. |

With the increase of the number of the elderly, the Chinese society is gradually stepping into the aged society from the aging society. Both the aging society and the aged society will produce a far-reaching impact on the basic national policy, and generate a series of social problems and opportunities. As a typical category of users, the expansion size of the elderly will change the users' structure of IT/IS (Information Technology/ Information System) products significantly. This is not only a great challenge to the IT industry, but also a great opportunity. As scholars in IT/IS area, we should focus on the social hotspots and difficult issues as well as the future development trend, and aim at the development of IT/IS under the conditions of aging society and provide a theoretical framework. To be more specific, we need to deeply analyze the content of the elderly needs of the IT/IS, exam the features and affecting factors in the adoption and usage process of IT/IS products by elderly people, and design the IT/IS products specifically for the elderly. Based on the Maslow's theory of hierarchy of needs and literary study, this paper analyzes the needs of the elderly and designs a model of the elderly's information needs. Given the above analysis, we discuss the implications of applying the model. We point out the IT/IS products' positive roles in benefit to the elderly's information needs. On the other hand, we analyze the impact of aging society on the IT/IS products and reach the conclusion: with the three aspects of active works of developing and even creating the elderly's information needs, establishing information systems to cover the elderly users, and designing specifically the human-computer interface for the elderly users, we can deal with challenges brought by aging society and seize the potential industry opportunities. |
