The genus Polygonum （Polygonaceae） comaius rich medicinal plants. Among the 120 Polygonum species in China, 81 species were recorded to have medicinal uses in traditional Chinese medicine and folk medicine. From 1980s, more and more work including chemical and biological activity studies on this genus were reported. In this paper, the studies on chemistry and bioactivity of genus Polygonum mainly from 1990 were reviewed. |
