Sex differences in the dark triad and the association with relationship satisfaction

目的探讨黑暗人格的性别差异及其对关系满意度的跨性别一致性。方法选取被试490人,使用马基雅维利主义人格量表、精神病态人格、自恋人格、大五人格以及关系满意度量表进行测评。采用相关分析、t检验以及分层回归分析的方法进行统计分析。结果关系满意度和三种黑暗人格得分分别为:关系满意度(27.63±5.09)分,马基雅维利主义(53.52±8.02)分,精神病态(38.45±7.52)分,自恋(18.41±7.27)分;男性在黑暗人格上的得分均显著高于女性(t_(马基雅维利主义)=3.226,t_(精神病态) = 3.070,t_(自恋)=2.900,均P<0.01)。马基雅维利主义与精神病态、精神病态与自恋之间显著相关(r= -0.170~0.572),但马基雅维利主义与自恋之间相关不显著;进一步控制性别、年龄、学历、职业等因素,采用分层回归分析,考察黑暗人格对关系满意度的跨性别一致性,结果发现男性和女性的马基雅维利主义和精神病态都显著的负向预测关系满意度(b_(男马基雅维利主义)=-0.104, t_(男马基雅维利主义)=-2.352,b_(男精神病态)=-0.131,t_(男精神病态)=-2.739,b_(女马基雅维利主义)=-0.121,t_(女马基雅维利主义)=- 2.662 ;b_(女精抻病态)=-0.106,t_(女精神病态) = -2.189,均P<0.05),但男女自恋均未能显著预测关系满意度。结论黑暗人格存在性别差异,同时对关系满意度存在部分跨性别一致性。 |

Objective To examine the sex differences in the dark triad and its association with relationship satisfaction. Methods Totally 490 participants from institutions and corporations were assessed by Mach-IV , Levenson Self-Report Psychopathy Scale ( LSRP) , Narcissistic Personality Inventory ( NPI) , Relationship Assessment Scale ( RAS) and Big Five Inventory (BFI-20). Statistical analysis was performed by correlation analysis, t test and hierarchical regression analysis.Results The scores of Relationship Assessment and dark triad were shown as follows : relationship assessment (27.63±5.09),Machiavellism (53.52± 8.02) ,psychopathy (38.45±7.52) ,narcissistic (18.41±7.27) .Men scored higher than women in dark triad (t_(Machiavellism) = 3.226, t_(Psychopathy) = 3.070, t_(Narcissistic) = 2.900, all P<0.01). There were significant correlations between machiavellism and psychopathy, and also between psychopathy and narcissistic( r= -0.170-0.572) .Linear regression showed that Machiavellism and psychopathy were consistent negatively associated with relationship satisfaction for both men and women ( b_(Machiavellism-men) = -0.104, t_(Machiavellism-men) = -2.352, b_(Psychopathy-men) = -0.1 31 , t_(Psychopathy-men) = -2.739 , b_(Machiavellism-women) =- 0.121,t_(Machiavellism-women) = - 2.662 ;b_(Psychopathy-women) =-0.106, t_(Psychopathy-women) = -2.189, all P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in narcissism between male and female. Conclusion For the dark triad, there are obviously sex differences and its association with relationship satisfaction are partly confirmed. |
