神经营养因子在神经元的发育、营养、存活、凋亡及损伤后修复中扮演着重要角色。然而,不易通过血脑屏障的性质限制了其临床应用。天然药物雷公藤内酯醇可促进神经营养因子的分泌,且具有分子量小、易通过血脑屏障的分子特征,引起了国内外研究机构的广泛关注。文章将对神经营养因子在治疗神经疾病的局限以及雷公藤内酯醇及其衍生物所带来的研究机遇做一综述,为进一步探索天然植物药雷公藤对神经系统疾病的治疗提供新的视角或新途径。 |

Neurotrophic factor plays an important role in the development, nutrition, survival and apoptosis of neurons, as well as in the post-injury repair. However, neurotrophic factor is not capable to cross the blood-brain barrier, which limits its clinical application. Triptolide, a small molecule extract from the traditional Chinese herb, Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. f, has been shown to promote the secretion of neurotrophic factor. Owing to its lipophilic characteristic, small molecular weight, and easy to pass through the blood-brain barrier, the therapeutic effect of triptolide on neurological diseases has attracted widespread attention. This article will review the limitations of neurotrophic factor in the treatment of neurological diseases and the research opportunities brought by triptolide and its derivatives, in order to provide a new perspective for the treatment of neurological diseases by exploring the natural medicine Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. f. |
