高血氨大鼠服用乳酸菌后焦虑降低和认知功能改善

文摘 相关证据表明, 高血氨(HA)引发的神经炎和五羟色胺(5-HT)系统异常可能是导致肝性脑病(HE)认知功能下降和焦虑症状的原因. 服用益生菌可能是治疗HE神经精神症状的有效措施, 因为益生菌在维护免疫系统平衡和调节5-HT 系统活动中发挥了重要的作用. 检验了益生菌瑞士乳杆菌NS8改善HA 大鼠认知功能下降和焦虑行为的有效性. 通过连续4周的腹腔注射醋酸铵造成Sprague-Dawley 大鼠的高血氨. 然后让HA大鼠每日饮用添加了瑞士乳杆菌NS8(10_9 CFU/mL)的饮水. Morris 水迷宫测试大鼠的认知功能, 高架十字测试大鼠的焦虑行为. 脑区神经炎的程度以炎性标记物诱导型一氧化氮合酶、前列腺素E2和白介素1β 的水平表示. 5-HT 系统的活动以5-HT,5-HIAA(5-HT 的代谢物)以及色氨酸(5-HT 的前体物质)的水平表示. 益生菌处理显著地降低了HA大鼠的神经炎程度, 减少了5-HT 系统的活动, 改善了认知功能和焦虑行为. 这些结果说明, 服用益生菌瑞士乳杆菌NS8是治疗HA 大鼠认知功能下降和焦虑的有效方法.
